High Holy Day

Feast of Unleavened Bread

The feast of Passover is a High Holy Day commemorating the deliverance of all of the 12 Tribes of Israel out of Egypt by the Most High God. The Passover is also referred to as “The Feast of Unleavened Bread”. During the Passover, the Most High required the Children of Israel to put a lamb’s blood mark on the two posts of their doors in order for the plaque of death to pass over them doing no harm. Every firstborn of those that did not have the mark upon their door was killed throughout the land of Egypt. After Pharaoh finally released the Israelites from their bondage, he sent armies after them crossing the Red Sea with Moses. The Most high opened up the sea allowing his people to pass, and closed it killing all of the pursuing Egyptians.
