Dress Code

The World's Dress Code vs Israelites

In today’s society the dress code simply is  “do you” in street terms. The churches tell their followers come as ye are. In essence the woman dressing provactively ( short skirts, Tight Pants, Revealing Blouses) is acceptable. In addition men wearing dresses and skirts are also welcomed. The modern day Christian church allows and encourages such behavior in regards to these outward appearances. According to the Bible we have to understand if the Heavenly Father is in agreement with such appearances. 

The Bible is clear on the dress code for the so called blacks and so called Hispanics (The Israelites).

Zephaniah 1:8 : And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD'S sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.

 

The scripture noted above gives us the judgment that the Most High said would be given to all Israelites who dress in a manner contrary to the commandments he gave. Yes, in the day of judgment you will be put to death for not abiding by the Lord’s dress code.

 

If you are a repented and sincere Israelite, you should now be asking yourself two questions. What is the dress code of the Most High and am I living by that code?

 

Here are some of the scriptures  that will help you in your understanding.

 

Matthew 5:19  “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

 

The Dress Code is considered to be some of the least commandments. Because many of our people believe that the Lord is not concerned with the way we dress and present ourselves.

 

However, according to Ecclesiasticus 19:29, A man may be known by his look. And in verse 30 of the same chapter, A man’s attire, show what he is. So, for example, we can easily tell a nurse and a doctor apart from the patients in a hospital. How? because they dress in a distinctive fashion. 

 

Proverbs 7:10 : And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.

 

In the same way you can tell a doctor and a nurse apart from the patients in a hospital, you can tell a righteous woman and a whore apart. In Proverbs 7, this harlot lured this foolish man by advertising herself by the garment (clothing she was wearing).

 

This is why the Most High commanded our women to not dress in revealing clothing. 1 Timothy 2:9 : In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

 

With shamefacedness meaning with a humble spirit; humble to God’s commandments. Not with a prideful spirit and not putting their bodies on display. “Not with gold or pearls” does not mean that you cannot wear jewelry; it means that your wisdom, knowledge, and understanding should be valued above how good you look in what you wear.


 

Leviticus 19:29 “ Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness”. 

 

How can we prostitute our daughters to be whores? By allowing them to dress immodestly. By allowing them to dress in short skirts, skin tight dresses and pants. Allowing them to dress this way is first and foremost shameful to God and other brothers and sisters that live righteously. It promotes lewdness and lasciviousness; especially to whoremongers/adulterers.

 

It was mentioned that one of the ways parent prostitute their daughters to be a whore is by allowing them to wear pants. Now, according to the Most High, Women wearing pants is an ABOMINATION; likewise men wearing dresses.

 

Deuteronomy 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

 

Today this is known as cross-dressing. Wearing the clothing of the other gender. Men are not to wear women’s underwear, women’s shoes, or dresses etc. Likewise women should not wearing men’s clothing; pants, his shoes, his shirts etc.

 

The Most High sees this as confusion and out of order; a vile thing on the same level as homosexuality.

 

Our forefathers, coming out of Egypt, wore pants. Exodus 28:42 And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:

 

This verse also gives you the length of the pants. Your thighs should not be seen. It is the same with the sisters in terms of the length of her dress. 

 

Judith 9:2 : O Lord God of my father Simeon, to whom thou gavest a sword to take vengeance of the strangers, who loosened the girdle of a maid to defile her, and discovered the thigh to her shame, and polluted her virginity to her reproach; for thou saidst, It shall not be so; and yet they did so.

 

It is shameful for a woman’s thigh to be seen, so her dress should be over the knee. More precisely, the leg is also to be covered. The leg is the knee to the ankles.

 

Isaiah 47:1-2 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.

2: Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.

 

Another important precept to understanding the Most High’s dress code is that all garments must be made of a single fabric. For instance, your shirt cannot have to a mixture of fabrics, say, 60% cotton and 40% Polyester. It must be 100% of one fabric.

 

Deuteronomy 22:11 Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.

 

The Most High’s laws are very peculiar and intricate. In verse 12 of the same chapter, the Most told us: Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.

 

This verse is better understood in Numbers 15:38. Which says: 

 

“Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue”

 

The fringes are to be on the borders of our garments; round about (Exodus 28:33-34). Once the fringes are sewn on, then you sew on the ribbon of blue. This is to remind us of the commandments. 

 

1 Corinthians 7:31 …The fashion of this world passeth away. The ways of this world, including the ways in which men and women dress will pass away. But the Most High’s laws endure forever!

In closing to dress according to the Bible following after Christ as an Israelite is not a burden/ nor hard to do. If we love Christ like many so called Blacks and Hispanics claim they do we will humble ourselves and keep the laws. . 

 

John 14:15 “ If ye love me, keep my commandments” Our Messiah dressed in the fashion of wearing the fringes and border of blue. He set the example that we may follow.
